Good idea. The only problem being if the AA route planner sends you via Picadilly, then the chances are a Sat-nav will do the same thing.

My advice would be drive normally round the M25 to junction 16, pick up the A40 *then* turn the volume up on the sat-nav. That should follow the A40-Euston Road-A10 route we outlined above, and of course get you to the correct street once you are in Hackney.

When I travel from Bristol I go on the M4 then North Circular up to Hornsey/Holloway Road,to get to Lower Clapton I would just go straight up the seven sisters rd then turn at Manor park towards Stanford hill and so on....

When route planned, smack the screen (not too hard!) and it'll give the option to avoid certain points etc.. Not rocket science luv

You miust be takinga different road in then because I was trying to get to Truro for 9am for a few days last week and all the traffic consisted of single occupancy cars. What school would they be trying to get too?
