Does anyone remember the Magnifico, it was a Cornetto, but huge and filled with creamy goodness.

They only started to be made with all dairy ice cream sometime around 1992 - prior to that they were presumably the usual British concoction of vegetable fat

Yup, I remember the court case - However, they have started taking out the dairy again & replacing it with other fats & texturisers - All in the hame of "health" of course.

Lemon Cornettos from Lidl (or maybe Aldi..) - Christ - they are faaaaan-tastic - just the right balance of creamy sweetness and lemon sharpness.

Are people embarrassed about revealing their favourite type of cornetto?

Is this some sort of social nuance I should be aware of? Have I been making a fool of myself all these years by openly expressing ice cream related preferences? I had no idea it was such a cultural faux pas...

I like the standard vanilla with chocolate bits and nuts- I assume this is the Classico- but when I can get hold of them I really like the mint ones. Mmmmmm...

I'm not that keen on cold or sweet stuff but if offered a cornetto and I was in the mood I'd go for the strawberry.

When I was a kid they came around with them half way though films. I only went to the cinema about once a year but my folks still wouldn't get me one. You couldn't seem to get them in shops at the time.
