"Corked" wine.

IME corked wine is bloody rare.

Had the odd bottle of oxidised white when some mean little Italian shit kept a bottle of Mersault upright for ten years in a hot off licence before serving it at 5X the price in the restaurant though.

It's a reaction with the cork. Simple as. Can't give you the run-down, because I've never had one.

Most of my wine comes out of a petrol-pump thingy.
 
They have those things in all the caves in France
They're ace.
I remember seeing a farmer with a two gallon container filling up with red - his tache was purple. :D
