Coolist squat party locations

Anything that borders railways gets my vote. Little makes you smugger than the sight of a train fulling of commuters getting a bleary eyeful of what they're missing*.

*munters in a field
When I was involved with HouseBreakin' we did loads of parties in the 'triangle' on Hackney March. It has train lines on 2 sides and we regularly had trains of people go past. Even had a maintenance crew out one night giving it large from up on the tracks.

Pretty much all the Cornish free parties :) The old mental health insititute near Falmouth on a new year's eve was quite spooky/ special! And UK tek 2006 at Davidstow airfield - that was a cool place...

This is exactly the spot I was thinking of. So far as I know there's still parties there pretty frequently.

There was also a friend's place by London Bridge. The Overground went past the rooftop courtyard which also happened to be where they'd installed their jury rigged shower. A different eyeful of munters for the commuters altogether.

My favourite was a huge warehouse in Waterden road, hackney Wick. 1999. Went on for weeks!
And the Westminster's roundabout. Incredible views from there. Feels like two lifetimes ago.

I went to those. The concrete building in Westminster is now the Plaza Hotel. Late October 1999

most memorable...

The roundhouse in chalk farm.
I knew some of the wastoids squatting that place
terribly proper south hampstead school for girls girls
gone skaggy with fake cockney accents to match.
But the party crew (ie not them) moved in
and had the place all winter.

That massive 4 floor office building near bow
(toilets were rank, but the building was unreal just HUGE).
A great new years eve there I remember arriving about 6am and from the street it was just this massive looming block with coloured lights beaming out the windows,
like something from Close Encounters.
Roundhouse was a fucking nightmare. diesel was freezing in the fuel lines and there was this putty speed shit that overroad everything...was a good new years but got bronchitis off the back of it

Wow that's amazing! I just looked it up on Google. I left London in 2008. I must go back one day and revisit these spots. Thank you for sharing that!
