Okay, hardly ever bother with toast.

Because the cheapest ones are shit (and expensive for what they're worth) and I'm not going to be able to buy a £600 cooker any time soon. I'm talking about when I move. Those gas hobs are about £25-£50.
You gonna rely on a wind turbine or something? No electrical supply, at least not from the grid.
I've never been in a rented place that hasn't had a cooker and I've always been in unfurnished properties. I'm pretty sure there was a cooker when my mum moved into her council flat.

What about a combo mircowave/grill thingy? There's one there for £60 and it doubles up as a toaster, so that's £20 saved. Not instead of a gas hob, obv.
Tagine would still be the thing to roast things in though. They're amazing things.
) and I genuinely don't think I'd need it with my gas hob meal wizardry. You gonna rely on a wind turbine or something?
In that case you can (probably still) get decent mini-oven-grills that are similar, and maybe a tad cheaper. I survived with one of those and two electric hotplates for years.I don't use microwaves (I really don't, none of you can go off and find loads of threads in which I use microwaves) and I genuinely don't think I'd need it with my gas hob meal wizardry.
You couldn't do a decent roast with just a hob, or could you?
Pot roast.
All in one pan?
A griddle pan is a useful thing to have.
If it's big.
Could I get a a joint and roasties in it, and how would they taste?

Oops I missed that first time around for some reason. Hope they're not too expensive.
Made from thick anodised aluminium with Teflon® Professional non-stick coating

Ikea do one, I'll be very surprised if it's more than £30.

I'm very surprised.

John Lewis do one which has the added bonus (if you're that way inclined) of not being teflon coated.
I thought the whole point was what they were made from not just the shape![]()
