Cooking mushrooms

Fry the fuck out of them. The immune system benefits that mushrooms provide can take a nuclear blast and still work so, unlike a lot of veg, they really lend themselves well to being cooked within an inch of their lives

Fry them whole, slowly, with more butter than you could possibly have thought feasible, and the same again of garlic. nomnomnom.

Believe it or not they don't do too badly in the microwave, given enough butter.

Mushrooms often fall foul of overcooking imo... They're wonderful things but are often abused.

Also try making mushroom soup.

Omg I love mushrooms, they are absolutely my favourite food.

I especially love portobello mushrooms stuffed with cream cheese (low fat), breadcrumbs, garlic and herbs. Drizzle of olive oil, cover them with foil then bake them. Take the foil off for the last few mins.

I LOVE mushrooms of any variety. I sautee them in olive oil, not butter.

I also roast them, grill them....

in fact, I am sad that I am sans mushrooms at the moment - I finished the last of mine earlier

off to make some grub!
