<wakes up in the corner of the room, concussed>

<makes another grab for Shmu's hair but slips back into unconciousness>

Got this.

It was well cheap.

It will probably, therefore, be well shit.

And I will blame nogoodboyo, because he inadvertantly pointed me towards the comet website, where I found it looking big enough and cheap.

What was that squeaking sound? Beeboo, that you?

is it a delonghi or however you spell it?

we had one - it was ok - we had to get all the switches replaced under warranty but apart from that it worked ok ...

<looks for her kitchen thread, finds it long since lost from the first page>

oh... :(

'spose your new cooker looks alright Shmu (begrudingly).

But mine will be better... :p

Another gratuitous pic...

Your cooker looks delicious. When I am flush, I might just copy you.

Yes. It's only £399 and has 5 hob burners and is 90cm across, so will fit our large space. Was a bit suspicious because it seems to be about half the price of anything else dual fuel this size.

I refused to buy his extended warranty - hope that wasn't a mistake. But had to point out to the man selling it to me over the phone, that saying "what if the door breaks?" wasn't very confidence inspiring.

I've got a Smeg and I'm regretting it... I don't have a problem with the buttons heating up or anything, and the burners on the top are great, but the oven cooks everything far too fast and the second oven is too small. I recently had a repairman over to fix the extractor fan and he took one look at the Smeg and shook his head. Apparently he has more call-outs for Smeg ovens than anything else....
