Confessions of a trash eater

I've just had some fish fingers for the first time since the 80s and they were pretty darn good

Things with dips, i.e. sack of Doritos with crappy factory salsa in a jar, or breadsticks with huge wobbly mounds of high calorie shop-bought onion and garlic gunge on the ends.
I was trying to think of any trash that I eat, cos I don't usually, and then I saw this post and thought of me :D

cheese toasties. mmmmm. toasties :)
 I had forgotton about cheesey toasties!!!!
Now i want one!:D

Trash foods - I used to love those cheese crispy pancakes with herby smash and beans

I havent had that for years:(

I don't think of cheese toasties as trash food. They're way more nutritious than, say, a bag of crisps or a frankfurter.

Or maybe they really are greasy hunks of fat and I am in denial.

I feel a bit odd on this thread. I've never been a fan of true junk. I've eaten poverty food, but I'm talking corned beef hash, which is made with real spuds. The taste of junk is awful, makes me thirsty as fuck and recoil at the smell. My daughter fucking loves junk - chicken dippers are her favourite, bleurghhh. Salty fatty horrible untasty shite!

I'll get off me soapbox, get me coat, and I'm gone

I've just eaten a can of Harry Ramsden's mushy peas, cold, straight from the can,:o
I'll have to open another one now to go with my fish fingers. :)
You need taking in hand shirl, I've read what you've eaten for the last 3 days and it's pitiful ;) :p

:) I love veg, specially green veg like sprouts and curly kale cabbage mmmmmm
Rarrr..good call Miss D. Savoy cabbage, broccoli, and spinach - I love them all, will eat bucketfuls

I was thinking I might have to make myself some kind of wholesome veggie dish in the next couple of days to balance things out. Or I could eat that tinned fruit in the cupboard... have to make some effort at healthy eating sometime :(

No proper green stuff? There's loads of good green veg, don't you like any of it?
I do like spinach & plantain tbh, but just hate other veg for some reason. don't know why. mrs1798 tries to add things to my food, but I pick them out. i.e. carrots and stuff.

Maybe it was growing up in small town Ireland where me ma just boiled everything. :(

mrs1798 has tried it all, fried, baked, the lot... but I still can't eat veg'.

fried chicken from one of the multiple vendors on Brixton Hill. I know it's dirty and greasy but it tastes so good......

Do you like fruit? I hate the stuff, same 'no reason why' thing, but I can eat green veg til it comes out me ears

I'll tell you what else is lovely - baked beans mixed together with tinned macaroni cheese. Beautiful colour and consistency, all the important food groups covered etc.

I love fruit to bits, normally have 7/8 portions a day at the mo'.
Sorted then for Cs and Bs :D I'd be interested to know if this split between fruit and veg is shared by others - can't be just me n you

:) I like fruit when i can be bothered - i really should eat more as i'm a veggie/pessiethingy - it gets boring

but i love veg - I could and have eaten a whole savoy(all be it smallish) which wasw smothered in butter and black pepper:cool:

Those funny fish sticks with 3 minute noodles, mushrooms and brocolli. Yum. :D

Skim embrace your trash eating pregnancy goddammit. You'll be putting yourself on enough of a health binge once the sprog is born.

Except I don't want to see you go anywhere near 'resistance pram training' or whatever it is. Actually, I can't imagine it.
