'Jet' isn't a shit song though.. its just the "coool" police which have problems with it.

Yeah - I'll back this up. Alan Partridge fucked this song up for most people - but I still think it is damned good song - like a lot of Macca 70s stuff.

ELO too - NOT CRAP - not at all - they just fell foul of the punk generation cool.

Lene Marlin - Sitting down here & unforgivable sinner and Black Eyed Peas - where is the love :o im sure ive other crap pop songs I like but i just listened to those
I also love The Waterboys - This is the sea ablum which I dont see as being bad just so incredibly middle of the road it could have a head on colision with itself.

I really like Elton John's original version. :o

I very nearly had that as the 'first dance' tune at my wedding.

Clearly addled by champagne and emotion :o

I saw Bananarama support the Scissor Sisters, and when they'd finished I caught myself saying "I really must buy a Bananarama CD" - didn't follow through with it though...

I've just bought Bowie's Tonight album - which I had on vinyl - on CD for a couple of quid.

I quite enjoyed listening to "Loving the Alien" again - and even "Blue Jean" didn;t set my teeth on edge like it used to.

ive just listened to the bee gee's greatest hits :o

my mam asked me to make her a cd :\....well she fuckin DID!! :o

those are some quality songs though :o

The Cranberries - No Need To Argue.

In my defence, they aren't bad and I had PMT. :o :D

I also like cheesy 80's songs, some of which have been listed in MA's first post.

I've rediscovered a rather shameful love for Joe Le Taxi by Vanessa Paradis, saw the video on VH1 or something, she was wearing classic eighties fashion, leggings and a big baggy jumper. Wish I'd been around when that was cool.

I actually enjoyed listening to Charlotte Church's new single ! I think it's the line about slapping & whip cracking that does it :o

after the album i was listening to finished just now...

i was rambling through music files and found the commodores 'sail on'...its on now and im quite enjoying it :o :D

Talking of the Commodores, me and a mate used to love "Nightshift". Not sure it's shit, as such, but definitely not cool.

"Marvin...."

:D
