some of Dr Octagon moves into that kind of territory. I'm thinking "Half Shark Alligator Half Man". Kool Keith's a bit more "island of dr moreau" or Frankenstein, but he has in common with Lovecraftian horror a fascination with grotesque depredations of the human body - the animal beneath the human skin.
Which hip-hop duo was it that had a song called something like 'Roll of the 20-Sided Dice"? There was some NYC-based (I think) horrorcore duo who had very Dungeons & Dragons type lyrics.

Both "Hard with no Hoe" and "Potholes in my Lawn", by KMD and De La Soul respectively, are gardening-themed raps. I think at least one of them mentions hoses.
