concepts which are sadly under-represented in hip-hop

1: lovecraftian horror

:(

some of Dr Octagon moves into that kind of territory. I'm thinking "Half Shark Alligator Half Man". Kool Keith's a bit more "island of dr moreau" or Frankenstein, but he has in common with Lovecraftian horror a fascination with grotesque depredations of the human body - the animal beneath the human skin.

Which hip-hop duo was it that had a song called something like 'Roll of the 20-Sided Dice"? There was some NYC-based (I think) horrorcore duo who had very Dungeons & Dragons type lyrics.

That clearly isn't true, especially during the 'golden period' of around 1986 - 1990. Many albums by Hip Hop artists featured a song in which the DJ would show what they could do (Cashmoney, Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, Public Enemy etc).

I don't think theres enough songs about going to clubs and about cool cars sitting on 22's.
