Duran Duran's The Chauffeur. Not so much a weird word, but unlikely for the band.

"Well I've loved a million women in a belladonic haze"
Queen's Keep Yourself Alive. I heard this song really young and didn't have a clue what they were on about.
 
Learning the difference between a verb and an adjective would start you off. ;)

I'm entirely aware of the meaning of 'to deliberate', thanks. I just don't happen to find it particularly impressive. So your rather flaccid attempt at condescension looks pretty sad, no?
 
What I find strange is that nobody bothered to tell her before the song was recorded.

Yeah, indeed. What actually transpired is the opposite of what you would expect to have happened. There's a word for that but I'm buggered if I can remember what it is.
