im really glad you lots told me this before i went to work for them.... i guess chances are if they are crap enough to expect me to work for free then they'll prolly be rubbish employers all round really....

I've done this and it was also comission only door to door. I earnt good money doing it, but plenty of people I was working with didn't.

There is nothing more soul distroying than hating what you do, working a ten hour shift and making absolutely nothing.

What astral said, plus you can bet anything you like they'll find a million excuses to justify not paying you when you do actually sell something.

Did they mention a contract?

NEVER (and I mean NEVER) do any form of paid work without a formal contract, else how will you make sure you get paid?

Oh yeah - what equation girl said just reminded me - you won't be employed by them, you'll be self employed and thus liable for all your own tax and NI contributions.

The Chugger job looks alright as a temporary thing, it's 20k salary not some wierd comission only job.

If I pass the second round of interviews I'll take the job and im gonna apply for this other 'proper' job that I actually want to do whilst I'm chugging. The proper job looks really cool and I think id be really good at it and as i said before i think id be really helpful with my application for my pgce!

Feeeling much better about job things now....

I'm still not going to be able to make rent next week tho...

thank yooooou! The second round of interview is basically going out on the street and doing chugging while you get assesed by the manager people. I think i have to confidence and well massive mouth to do fine with this bit....
