I have a powerful aversion to anything resembling mayonnaise, so it's crap.

Don't mind cabbage, onion and carrot in a mustardy vinaigrette, though.

'Simply Delicious' organic mayo

Job's a good 'un. :D
I like coleslaw and Simply Delicious is the best mayonnaise. :)

Bloody wanky Sainsburys stopped stocking it down here. I think it was too cultured for the six-fingers-and-webbing brigade. Had to pick some up from Brizzle. But yeah, what a mayo! :D

Only homemade, thanks. The gunk they put in factory stuff is boak-inducing.

I adore homemade, but – much as I try – I just can't make mayo. Even if I'm really, really slow with the oil.

I can't stand most of the factory brands. Hellman's is like paint stripper.

Try Simply Delicious organic mayo - it's lovely!

(No, I don't work for them)

I've seen it in both Sainsbury and Tesco. Ummm... when I was there with a friend. I'd never shop there myself, of course! :D

Homemade is ok

I dont like buying preprepared processed food from supermarkets

I would rather grate the cabbage and the carrots myself

red cabbage and carrot coleslaw is yum

I dont make it that often but thanks for reminding me that cabbage can be used for nice things

I can remember when I was a nipper, having grated carrot ..er salad(?) and it was like it was soaked in something like a dressing, you wouldnt happen to know what to add to grated carrot to make it taste oh so yummy and it really enhanced the sweetness of the carrots, Ta :)

I know!My auntie makes carrot salad like that and this is how...

3tbsp olive oil
1tbsp cider vinegar
1tsp tahini
1tsp whole grain mustard

all mixed together and tossed with the carrot, oh and if you want you can toast pumpkin and sunflower seeds in soya sauce and throw them in aswell.

:)
