Cold meats - what are your favourites?

Thinly sliced roast pork loin, with a rosemary & garlic crust.

pretty much any of it except those vile soft german sausages and tongue. tongue's just bloody disgusting, even if you're not appalled by where it comes from - there's something metallic and urinous and orrid in the taste, bit like liver taken to unpleasant extremes. I really like fennelly or peppery coarse-cut salami but the more minced-up ones tend to the extremely greasy.

finest for me are san daniele ham (sweeter and softer than parma), bresaola, really good pata negra, chorizo, pastrami esp with lots of spicing, cold roast beef but only if it's rare, cold roast pork leg that's been roasted with lemon and cumin ... they're all bloody good but horribly expensive. to repeat, pretty much anything except german sausage or TONGUE *retch*

Used to be sliced turkey breast from the deli, but now its left over economychops from last nights tea, as the turkey went with the wage.

I'm getting through a ton of sliced turkey as I recently stopped being a veggie.

Haven't gone further than fish and poultry so far though.

I used to eat all manner of cold cuts, especially when in Germany.

The insanely expensive handmade imported Chorizo only available from very good and extremely expensive delis. It is a bi-annual treat for the Fuzzies :)
