Coffee in Brixton and where to get it.

Personally I never found the Goodbench all that welcoming, and the only coffee I ever had there was almost undrinkable - too hot, too bitter (?burnt?), milk not foamed properly bla bla bla. Not particularly sorry to see it go I'm afraid.

Glad someone else agrees with me. I went to Goodbench a few times and was gobsmacked by how rude they were that I didn't actually stay either time. Practically got chased out the door first time for daring to go just before close (although didn't realise) and the second time got my head bitten off for asking if they had more seats. That left a bitter enough taste without trying the coffee, which several people didn't like. Maybe that's why it didn't last?

I also find the tea and coffee fairly undrinkable at Rosie's and the service was pretty shoddy last time I went in too. Asked for the coffee with the sandwich I'd ordered, not before. Coffee arrived about 30 seconds later and then waited 15 minutes for the sandwich. Ordered a second coffee when it arrived. The coffee never turned up, but we were charged for it. The girl behind the counter just shrugged when we pointed this out.

When will people learn that even if the coffee is outstanding, it means nothing if your cafe is rude.
