It's only nice when it's been made in the same way as proper raspberry ripple, where it's raspberry syrup ripples in plain ice cream. The two flavours are seperate and there are two seperate textures too. When it's just uniformly-textured and -flavoured ice-cream, it's just gross and sick.

Syrup in ice cream is VILE!

Sheo, I would like to point out at this stage that pogofish damn near lives on coffee.
He spends more time in coffee shops than anyone else I know, he drinks Rocket Fuel coffee(two tsps per cup), has his own camping perculator, buys ground coffee from Jenners(scottish Harrods) and I wouldn't be surprised if he pees coffee!!

So he may be a bit of a coffee 'snob'(for want of a better word)

Update - Not drunk it since they changed the recipie/production method a year or so back as the new form is disgusting!

finally got some of the tesco finest stuff

very good!

easily the best supermarket own brand ice cream i've tried, and well worth ordering a freezer full of the stuff if it's still on special offer on their website

It is best, to get good quality vanilla ice cream, and pour an espresso over it... yum

excellent taste. Juliette Binoche does that in Three Colours Blue (i think blue) and it is like the most sophisticated thing ever, and then i tried it and it also tastes very good as well as being "chic".
