yea, The Strike. from inverness i think? but it wouldn't have been the guy i knew who went on to record as 'emergency' as he's been a Hip Hop/R&B DJ for about 20 years and ran clubs with my flatmate fat bob. runs a bar in barcelona now. this reminds me to give him a shout.

mate of mine did. blackpool maybe? said they were a bit disappointing actually and he's a total obsessive and only went cos they were playing. think hodges is the only original member and they did a load of new stuff which was just a bit pants.
i saw them in edinburgh roundabout the time the 'one law' single came out in fact the photo on the back was taken on York Place just behind my old flat.

The one in Emergency was the main man, Fergus. They were excellent, split up now i think. He was also briefly in The Tranzmitors who sound like UK 78 pop punk with Cure type vocals, saw em in the toon, really good.
