'Running Riot' and something else I can't remember.
Had the album at the time, and sold it at the time too. Picked up an American CD of it in a record shop in Chelmsford a few years back. Some cracking stuff on there to be honest. Best of all 'Blood on the Streets' by Criminal Class.

They were the one band that scared the life out of me as a kid. The thought of going to see them at the Bridgehouse in Canning Town was scary as hell, even though seeing bands like Combat 84 with fights kicking off every 2 minutes seemed tame.

'Running Riot' and something else I can't remember.

I love "running riot" but don't really know any of their other stuff.
Actually, i didn't realise "england belongs to me" was by them. i'd always thought it was Skrewdriver as whenever it used to be played at one of my locals all the skinheads would give it Hitler salutes when they weren't trying to rub their balls against each other.

PS: was 'strength thru oi' the one with nicky crane on the cover? my mate's band were on that. don't think i ever had a copy of it though (unlike the first one which i remember you could get cheap if you collected coupons from Sounds)
also, Griff, were Criminal Class the band with a member called 'Septic' who had an evil big scar down his face? didn't know they'd ever release anything.
I always remember a line from an interview with them when their singer (who i remember had a weird name) said "we've all got criminal records as long as our cocks" which , even at the time, i thought was a rather ill-advised 'boast'.

Cock Sparrer have made it clear many times they want fuck all to do with the right-arm merchants. My former workmate Shug O'Neill, a left-wing Scot, was Cock Sparer guitarist around the time of Runnin' Riot. They used to get him to sing 'England belongs to me' at some gigs.

I used to have an old tape from about 83 when you can hear the singer shout "It's fucking England not Germany you cunts" cos of all the seig heling (London was mental back then) - it all kicked off.

Who's yer mates band? If it was The Strike, he ended up in a band called Emergency who did a cracking CD a few years ago (shame they stole someone elses name though)
Seriously, 'Way of the Rocker' was a kickin' tune.
That and "Lethal" were shocking. Even the new one is better than those!
