Coca Cola sponsors Tube buskers to sing jingles

I think it's a cracking idea. A really cheap way to get thousands of people to hear their ad for little cost to them while the buskers get a bonus.
It will get people talking (already has here) and maybe even get a news slot or two for extra free ads.
Well done the coke marketing department.

That was pretty much my feeling on the news, its quite a clever little marketing ploy from the Coke's perspective.

They are on the most part shit anyway. Even if Coke werent doing this we'd still be subject to perpetual cover versions of Wish You Were Here and fucking Wonderwall. I'd rather listen to the washing machine going round.

I thought that they'd earn less, unless coke are paying them a huge amount. Don't most buskers make a mint over christmas? People are much more generous when they're feeling festive. I think I remember reading that buskers make four times more in December than any other month, although can't for the life of me find a source.
