Closer- Crap/Not Crap

Haven't seen the play but did see the film twice. First time it was all right, storyline held my attention and though the porn chat thing was quite funny. Actually spent a lot of time admiring Jude Law character's flat (don't know why, just liked its compact nature). Don't think I'd say it was crap and I'm not in the Jude Law hating group (enemy at the gates saves him imvho). Second viewing bored me though, apart from when Clive Owen called Roberts a bitch or something and my housemate gasped really loud in the cinema in shock! In retrospect it was rather forced and contrived.




(totally off-topic but Patrick Marber was great in Partridge)

Absolute crap. One of the few films that Sir Jefe and I wholeheartedly agree on is what a vile load of nonsense this was. I usually like Clive Owen, but this was utter utter horrible dreck.
