Patti Day - Right Before My Eyes

I 'heart' that tune.

yes, a brilliant record. Think one of the mixes of that - the one with the big vocal intro - might have been a Chris Barbarossa production (guy who did Shannon etc) - glorious stuff! :)

sasha and marie - be as one

and another vote for frankie knuckles 'your love' (which some fuckers got my copy of grrr:mad:)

btw anyone in the northeast- we're doing an acid house / old skool rave night on 30th nov in newcastle, pm for details;)

and that bootleg by the source with candi staton over 'your love'... "Sometimes I feel like throwing my hands up in the air" dum dum da dumdum

isn't the darby and jones club going to be so much fun in 30 years time...

ay but your love beats the shit out of candi staton, besides the candi staton one's become pure radio fodder, and I love the look on people's faces when they realise it's like candy staton, but not candy staton, and the ones who come up asking what mix of candy staton it is etc.

lol - the exravers sheltered housing projects should be fun too;)

yes, 'your love' is a peerless track of glory, but the original john truelove bootleg mix of ;you got the love' is class too and not to be confused with the pensioner's piss version that got in the charts.

they are both great tracks, saw Frankie Knuckles deejay in 93/94 and he was very good, but the candi staton vocals remind me of being mashed up more

Cheers for all your help with this, she loved the tunes and has since been on an extended tune quest. Give yourselves a pat on the back and a fresh tub of Vicks.

There are all manner of 'Back To The Old Skool' CDs out there with loads of this shit on. Just go to HMV, Play, Amazon etc...

My fave: Bizarre Inc - Playing With Knives (Al Scott Mix) 12" only iirc.

My ultimate ecstasy euphoria tune

Went to a trendy East London warehouse do on Sat and I had a good time. However, it's REALLY not as good as it used to be! I don't care if younger fules know better - IT'S NOT:mad::(
