I didn't read the thread at the time, I just flicked through it today. The situation may have "calmed down" but there hasn’t been a retraction or an apology for threatening to "beat the shit out of" HR.

As far as I'm aware it's against list rules to threaten violence against other posters and yet the moderators have done fuck all about this very aggressive and nasty little post. I’m not interested in the dispute between the two posters at all, but I do feel that if any poster threatens to track anyone else down and beat them up they should be removed from the list unconditionally.

Do any of the mods have an opinion on this?

How would you know if there hasn't been a retraction or an apology? Why bring this up now ? Are you saying that the mods haven't been doing their job?

I think you will find that being a mod on these boards isn't an easy job .

It was written in haste, and while fuming over what he had written in relation to my girlfriend. I saw red, took the bait, but that does not diminish the intention of my apology, which is genuine.

It was not the first time he had written comments about myself and my girlfriend in an insulting way.

thank God we have public spirited posters like Joe Politix who when on the odd occassion the mods slip up is there to point out incidents that happended several days ago with his beady eye. No doubt anarchy would take over the boards if he had let that one slip.

I can take a internet beating any day of the week..

Me and Ryazan are always threatening each other, im currently planning an Andy Mcnab ambush on his skoda on the way back from the supermarket.

I am fucking rude to him some times when he gets my goat.

I would prefer the stocks for him rather than a banning.
