class war and religion

Taxamo Welf said:
No, i'm being specific. Its not that shoppers at a Tesco or motorists on a motorway that gets invaded in some stunt aren't inconvenienced, they are.

In this case i am specifically talking about the active participants: the people doing the stunt obviously wanted to be there. Not so in the wetherspoons.

To compare Class War's bonfire and thevoids Reclaim The Pub: it would be as if Class War had turned up at someone else's event, started a bonfire and burned effigies without asking.

The participants got caught up in it true... But that's not a bad thing. In fact the exclusive nature of the CW event perhaps displays poorer politics... Struggle must circulate asap...

Attica that really is a shit post "it was my idea to have a bonfire" no it wasn't:o carn't even be botherd with this shite................

My thoughts too.

It IS the kids in pottery class, now they're arguing over the last lump of clay, when they'll only get bored and chuck it somewhere within a few minutes anyway...

I get the feeling the only "struggle" you faced with this event is getting mummy to "lend" you a tenner to buy some fireworks...

Um what? You support the wetherspoons debacle? Attica, you do understand they didn't actually mean for there to be a riot, despite being its cause.

was planning to go to this but glad i didn't .. tbh i think it is pretty sad to burn effigies of jesus and mo .. and totally irrelvant to anything .. relegion is almost always nothing to do with 'relegious types' .. seeing as most of our @/socialist moral credo is based on this judeo/xtian stuff it all seems a bit odd .. there are a thousend cults .. The bosses only need a few to control things .. the bosses are our enemy not ' do unto others as they would do unto you ' or 'love thy neighbour' ..

the pope maybe but then you got to go for a whole load of them .. archbis of cant???. .. but know one knows who they are

no .. seems to be a lost opportunity to me .. in fact its really simple in hackney .. jules pipe .. jamie carswell luke akehurst seb coe .. (or am i out of order and they got done .. did they??)

i have to say i think it strange that LCW doesn't 'engage' with local politics when it is an open goal re gentrification AND council bullshit ;)

Because that might mean actually having to engage with actual w/c people - talk to them, find out real problems and suggest and work toward actual solutions rather than propose to set fires at Lincolns Inn perhaps?

I dont think its fair to say they have no intention of doing stuff like this, they just don't. Any of their more serious material points towards it.

To be fair, I think Class War were doing what they've always done, putting the wind up the more liberal/pacifist side of the anarchist milleu rather than attacking simple ideas like 'do unto others as they would do unto you'. It is starting to look a bit stale though to be honest.

pepole were asked to fetch there own efigys to burn there was jules pipe tony blair george bush ian blair adolf hitler the queen jesus and loads of others you lot are a bunch of cunts the event was a laugh if you dont like it dont come you certainly wont be missed! as for the gentrification stuff we are involved in it we helped out with the squated cafe spirits stuff ect and most of us live here! the fact is class war couldn't give a fuck at you snipeing at the side lines what ever we do you sad wankers critsise your too violent your not violent enough ect same old crap don't moan organize put up or shut up

The golden rule of internets - If you're too fucked to operate the comma button, posting on an bulletin board claiming to speak for any given political organisation is less than wise.

:p

Yeah, they suffer terrifying repression. They have no freedom of worship. They can't establish mosques. They can't propagate their beliefs. Muslims are murdered daily.

You've probably noticed how Muslims are fleeing this hell hole in their thousands to take refuge abroad.

No, hang on a mo'...

You and the Social Workers live in fantasy land.

Politicians of all parties, members of the royal family, senior policemen, local government officers, the people who run the education system, the BBC & C4 etc etc etc are wretchedly Islamophile. Muslims and their ideology are funded and promoted, feted and flattered.

You are just tagging along with the HMG-MCB-SWP bullshit.

If you are bothered by religious repression, forget your fantasy repression and check out the predicament of non-Muslims in the Mohammedan world.

This post could go on the bnp website without changing a syllable.

No one in Class war proposed this action at Licoln Inns Fields. It was an ex member (Attica) who did.

But your comments on the respect forum could go on the bnp website without changing a syllable.

And probably have done.

Risible pk, really.

Have you not got someone to "kill in the face" this morning?

Have you not got someone to subscribe to dozens of porn spam websites this morning, then apologise profusely to later on when you want to rejoin their bulletin board?

FFS it was a sound system some thought might be a larf to set up in a pub that plays no music - despite hundreds of anarchos being in there who are very passionate about their music. Its not a strange thing to attempt...

Its not a question of whether I supported it or not, or support it now or not, what happened on the streets outside and subsequently in court is of far more importance...

Oh Paul, your claims about community support seem not so much shallow as delusions now.... :D

There is no comparison, you are a complete wanker and thankfully there has been a growing realisation of this even amongst your dwindling band of supporters here.

No, there's no comparison. And I can support myself more than adequately.

How come you fell out with Ern and AK after all that fun you had attacking urban75?

Was it the stress of getting caught and blaming each other, eh porn-spammer?

Ehm....

Mohammed wasn't a Jew. AFAIK.

just saying, like.

IMO burning the Jesus/Mohammed effigies was absolutely fucking idiotic, given its likelihood to offend to no real purpose/benefit. thankfully it's of little enough consequence that I have no real reason to care.

You know I don't really care about this bonfire, nor whose idea it was in Hackney. I never claimed that anyway...

But what I wrote about it functioning INSTEAD of politics is true:eek: :D
