Of course they are! The point was that, if the word "cunt" bandied about as an insult (as well as a term of endearment, for general comedy value and indeed in reference to an actual, real vagina on rare occasions) offends you, you will probably find yourself in a perpetually offended state whilst perusing these boards.

I don't like the fact that (arguably) the worst possible insult that someone can use is a word that also means vagina. It seems demeaning to women. Prick, dick, knob, cock (etc) are mild (almost friendly and affectionate!) in comparison.

But a word is only offensive to those who get offended by it. By getting so offended by it you are reinforcing the fact that it is the most offensive word.
