Clangers, Bagpuss & Co. Bradford

    Saw this elsewhere, didn't know if anyone might be interested....


    Come and meet Bagpuss, see the Soup Dragon and behold Noggin the Nog. Oliver Postgate's voice and Peter Firmin's puppets shaped the childhood memories of millions since they started collaborating in the 1950s. As well as telling the story of Bagpuss andthe Clangers, the exhibition will go behind the scenes of some of their other creations: Pogles Wood, Noggin the Nog and Ivor the the Engine.

    That's a bit weird because I saw Bagpuss and the Clangers and some of the other things that are in Bagpuss in the Beaney Museum in Canterbury last month :hmm:

    It's a touring exhibition isn't it? I saw it in Wolverhampton a couple of months ago

    That link says they're in Bradford 4 August until 7 October. I saw them in early September :eek: :hmm:

    I'd have loved to see that, but the thing only runs until this weekend. :(

    I'll have to watch the DVDs instead. :)
