It's the birthday of the woman I loves and we ventured out to this place, that Ritzy, to watch Cloverfield.

We've been quite unlucky with cinema experiences in the past being that the places we've gone have been entirely constructed of, and to attract, shitness.
This time, however, we had a great time.

Caught the 1.15pm showing and were going to sit in the bar after and have a relax and talk about the film but the bar wasn't open, which was the only pisser about the experience. Why close the fucking bar? There was even someone behind it casually cleaning glasses!
So apart from the lack of booze at the end, it were pretty good.

Timid mates are due next week think we'll start off in Ritzy then wander along to SW9. ianw I've taken your advice and checked Ritzy site- no cafe events listed that night so timid mate number one won't be trapped alone in free form jazz hell.

Do you mean the bar on the ground floor? Did you look upstairs (where the main and nicer bar/cafe is)? I would have though that would be open at that time of day.

Had no idea there was an upstairs bar. Didn't notice anything obvious to suggest there was. My unobservantness kicks in again... damn.

Next time we go I'll make sure to check it out.
