Citreon C1 will not start.

I am having a few problems with my Citreon just now, it either takes a while to start or it won't start at all.

This afternoon, me and my little girl went to go shopping but the car had other ideas as it wouldn't start for the whole day :-(.

Everytime I turned the key, the car just cranked and made sound a car makes when it won't start, I pumped the pedal frantically and continuosly turned the key but it just would not start.

My next door neighbour tried a jump start but that failed so I called a mechanic and they couldnt find any faults so I am baffled.

Any ideas?

Is it cross with you because you always insist on driving with all the windows done up?

1) Is fuel getting to the combustion chambers? remove plug and examine!
2) Is electricity getting to the combustion chambers? remove plug and observe!
3) If 1) and 2) are proven you are flooding it, remove all plugs, leave for 20 minutes, replace and crank starter without touching the throttle at all.

It's probably cold. Zip it tightly into a jacket.

And start a star chart. If it starts every day for a week, you can give it a treat.

Doubt it's a gasket. More likely to be a gudgeon pin in my view. Or some kind of flange

Is key in ignition if not place key into ignition turn untill mechanical noises come front of car release key then drive of as normal
