Nate (who is really into sarnies, like no-one else I have ever met) took one look at that and said - why is there bread? Shouldn't it just be a yorkshire on each side of the filling instead of bread?

I feel he has a point.

Edit: Oh btw I do think cold stuffing of all different types is really good in sarnies - I like a stuffing sarnie personally. Plenty of mayo or other condiments are good because day old cold stuffing can be a little dry.

They are selling the sprout ones 2 for 1 in my corner shop that's not on a corner already.

Had this yeaterday. Very nice indeed. The sage bread in particular makes it taste like a roast dinner.

Corner shops should be on corners. It is disconcerting when they are not.

Someone here had a Christmas falafel and hummous wrap yesterday. It was Christmassy because they'd shoved cloves and cinnamon in it. As bad as it sounds from all accounts. Mulled falafel.

The sprout crisps, btw, are actually surprisingly nice. Bf bought me some for a joke a few days ago, but I’ve had another pack since.

Not bad this one, fairly straightforward sandwich fillings, but the spiced chutney gave it a nice festive zing

I had the Tesco Brie and cranberry sauce one the other day. It wasn’t awful.

It would appear that yorkshire puddings are the twattery of choice this year (not my photo).

I tried the Brussels sprouts crisps which were super minging! Took 2 packs t work & surprisingly I would say about 35% of those that tried them like them. But a hell no from me.

But do you want it cold and either chewy or soggy after it's been sitting on a shelf for hours?

Do they actually taste like sprouts though? If you tried one without seeing the packaging and were asked what flavour it was, would you say "oh my they taste like brussels sprouts!"

Yes I think they taste of nasty evil Brussels sprouts.

Well you just don't know, do you ? You don't know how well it keeps. You can imagine it soggy or crisp and a bit chewy. Maybe that's the difference between optimists and pessimists. ;)

Why do all the turkey sandwiches have bacon in them?? That’s wrong!

Not really. The closest I can compare is crispy fried seaweed from the takeaway. But not really.

They are potato crisps that taste sort of analogous to green veg. Which is essentially new to people, but the sensation isn’t horrid.
