Thanks Julia (and your mum) for the recipe and everyone for bringing lots of lovely nosh, booze, choons and Xmas cheer.

Was nice to have a Xmas Craftclub/Ruby birthday combo and I am glad we managed to get the fondue right in the end It was so scrummy!

It would've been so funny to send Nigella all that weirdy curdled gone wrong cheese mixture in the post with a note that said 'thanks, bitch'.

For those who had to hear me whinge on and on about work - I've just had the single most joyful phone call of my working life - the whole place has had to shut down - FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS -due to the new boiler that was fitted today not actually working!!

Oh yes, the fondue was delicious when it happened! Is there really a suggestion of an urban75 morris troupe? Because I know some other Brixton dwellers who mooted this idea recently.

4 or 5, I think! We should do it - it would be such a laugh (and we could make bunting and costumes in craft club )
