It must be said, Reign of Fire is fucking abysmal.

I saw the poster for it in the tube station once, on a miserable Monday morning going to work. It had these helicopter gunships fighting these huge dragons which were burning down the houses of parliament and so on. It's arguably one of the best film posters of all time. I got well excited, expecting epic winnage, battles etc.

Sadly, though, said battles occur off screen and the whole film is desperately low key and dull

I sort of liked how it conveyed the drudge of a post apocalyptic society.

Couldn't suspend my disbelief though, I mean come the fuck on. Dragons would get fucking pwnt, bigstyle, if they tried it on.

Agreed, but he probably has the ability to be one of the finest actors of his generation. He really didn't need to do that Terminator film or any further ones (even if one of the Nolan brothers is writing the script) or a third Batman film. American Psycho was stunning though (almost did justice to the book some of which was blatantly unfilmable for a commercial release).

That Michael Mann film with Johnny Depp needs to be stunning.

I think that Public Enemies ought to be good, it looked good in the trailer, although I read a review that said it wasn't.
