I'm not even going to start on how much I wouldn't want a GSXR :hmm:

Looked after I read the thread & posted.

Maybe (mind still fudge from the weekend) I mean how much you might like aspects of its design rather than the particular bike itself. Wot with you two being unrepentant 2-stroke fans etc..... :p :D

Of course the original Gixxer 750G of 1985 is something of a classic these days.

(remembers when an aluminium frame and 100bhp from a 750 were remarkable).

And the oil-cooled motor IIRC.

Yes, it blew just about all the competition out of the water for a while & I can remember the dissapointment here when someone totalled the one & only dealer test bike north of Edinburgh on its second ride.

Sweeeet!

I'm going to finally get meself a little 125 next week, get my licence before the end of summer. Friend of mine is selling one of these, less than a year old with about 4k on the clock.

Cheers! I've had a scooter before, so I'm used to cars trying to kill me. And I live on the Isle of Man, so have plenty of bikers around to keep an eye.

Very excited. :)

Very nice choice

It's only been about 20 years since I last rode a motosicle so I should be OK.

Now remind me the make-go-faster lever is under your left foot and the deceleratrix in your right hand isn't it?

If you could revulcanise the cross-plys while you're at it :D

nice looking wheeels

went out for a good run on mine today, a bit nippy but its starting to become biking weather. Its fucking wonderful rolling the throttle on and feeling the power ramp up.

i can see me losing my licence tough if not careful, the rate at which bikes accelerate is scary :D

Nice bike, geminisnake.

Can I have a go? :D

Not without fully comp insurance and even then probably not :p
I think he may become a George, coz I can love him and hug him ;)

Definetly warming up out there. Last Monday going to Aberdeen was cold but going to Perth on Saturday was fine and trying out my new Rayven trousers today was fine too.

I think we may need to buy a grab rail, just for acceleration :o
