Chiltern Railways bought by German state operator DB

Are DB cycle-friendly like chiltern? I made such great plans for the summer - if they introduce one of those crazy pre-booking schemes (or worse!) it could seriously fuck things up!

Had a very close shave with closure - down to 1 tph to Banbury and 1 tph to Aylesbury at rock bottom stage

Think the High Wycombe - Banbury section was only once every two hours at some point.
