Chilli sauce appreciation thread

Yours is pretty hot for me, a teaspoon is plenty so it certainly lasts!
Chilli sauce is a tricky balance. The jalapeno one on the left is basically baby food - I used half a bottle on one meal with little satisfaction :( The smoked one I made tastes very nice but I probably need a hotter one on the side to spice things up. I think I'm a mid-range kind gal. Wish I could get those catering sizes of tabasco in the Chipotle and Jalapeno varieties. The little ones only last a week.

This has become a new staple for me.
I never liked the way Tabasco made things taste like Tabasco, that vinegary taste. This stuff is much better.

eta - We always have bottle of Siracha on the go...

Fancied a garlic chilli sauce so I've just bought the Nandos one and in case it has no heat another bottle of Encona as backup, bringing the total in the cupboard to about 6 varieties at the moment.

This turned out to be a winner - not stupid hot but enough pass muster

The Special Reserve version of Encona is definitely worthwhile. It's a smoother, more refined taste, but still with some of those nostalgic Encona notes.

I was in Primark Córdoba recently. It has gift packs of chilli sauce. I didn’t get any because I didn’t see them till I was leaving, and I didn’t want to stand in the queue again, but reading the labels they seemed interesting.

Do they do them in the uk?
