Children in need

I loved the Eastenders effort. It was the best thing they've done for CIN for years. The Bill boys were quite good too :)

It was amazing...she also gave a heartbreaking performance of Silence. I strongly recommend you seek them out!
I'm being remarkably slack on actually listening to the new album at all

Blame the stress - although I have actually gone and bought other albums in the meantime

God - does this mean I don't have an umbilical connection to polly anymore??

I haven't caned it as much as I normally would, but that just cos it's so incredibly sad and full of loss, it takes me somewhere I don't always want to go. Bloody Polly and her bloody drama

She was wearing the dress from the album artwork last night, with her hair all curly...she looked in her own little world.

Seeing it another way, wonder what her happy songs would be like? Happy, contented polly? Nahhhh :D

It's that bloody night of the year again. Anyone else feel like cutting their own throat :(
Yeah. I think that Children in Need really takes away the real entertainment BBC1 has to offer. Like erm.......

i missed the whole thing  i watched dvds and had an early night, missed jools hollond though, will watch it off the website during the week

Watched the good Doctors, then switched the guilt trip off. Did Billy Connelly get his genitals out again? or am I getting confused with the nightmare of comic relief past?

haven't bothered to watch most of it but the Doctor Who scene was actually pretty good. (somewhere I've got the 3d glasses and off air tape of the Demensions in Time Eastenders crossover bollocks from @93/94 /geek mode)
The 93 one was a load of old cock. The one with David Tennant and Peter Davison this year was pretty good though.

So they polluted our television screens to raise £19m for 'the kids'

Let us say for the sake of argument that the population of the UK is 60m people.

If we all gave 33p each then there would be no need for this tripe :)
