Well tonights match is reminding me of how Manchester United got put in their place against a tightly organised team, after being hyped by the media for their fantastic attacking play.

Obviously Barca are more in it than United were at the San Siro but a large part of that is because that's Chelsea's game plan.

I'm just shocked at how Barca lack anything approaching a plan b.

There's pl;enty of teams that have played outstanding football but in one game they are unable to, play simply because of the tactics of the oppositiont. It's hardly something that is 'unique' to Utd or Barca.

Was I saying it was unique, or was I saying it was reminding me of them because much like Barca Manchester United were much hyped going into a CL semi final after thumping a fuck lot of goals against other teams in the CL and their league only to come unstuck against a team that shut down their game. I also think Barca look similarly befuddled as United that night in the san siro.

I also think there is a similarity in so much as Barca should and most likely will learn from this.
