Spawnerpool have done it so often that it wouldn't really shock anyone

Er... I think it would. To my knowledge Chelsea have lost 3 times at home in over 4 years. Once on pens, once 2-1 and once 1-0.

To get through Liverpool have to win buy at least 2 goals - 3-1 = extra time; 4-2 or more = through on away goals. Should either of these scenarios happen I can't see it as being lucky. By 'Spawnerpool' I'm guessing that you think scoring late on is lucky as opposed to tenacious. You're not still bleating on about the 2006 FA Cup Final are you - when West Ham scored two genuinely spawny goals :p

The 14/1 probably understates the odds considerably, but the bookies don't want to lose a stack of money to optimistic Liverpool fans (and they know that hardly anybody is going to place a bet at 1/20).

It's not a bookies, it's the trading/matched market (meaning no overround, the odds total almost exactly 100%) - currently almost £2million with, at decimal odds Chelsea at 1.07.

It's the market odds without the bookies built in profit.

Gerrard out is not a great start for LFC I feel.
Although Terry offsets this loss slightly I still think that is possibly a nail in the coffin of my betting forecasts!

Hmmmm....

Goal is good news for the reds but they don't look all there yet.
That said nor do Chelsea so far.
Nerves?

dunno how i feel about this, liverpool out of the CL lets them focus on the league but still would like to see them out.
