I doubt they'd give you a straight multiple because those bets aren't independent. For instance, if Torres scores first (i.e. he scores at all) then a hattrick becomes much more likely. And if he scores a hattrick then that makes penalties much more likely. You'd have to ask for that bet to be worked out as a special one-off, I think.

Perhaps I didn't explain it properly.

You can't have two legs where one contributes to the other. So naming a player to score first is fine, but you can't then double it with the team score. They have to be exclusive of each other.

I will try to explain.

Ahem.

I will role play a bookie for you.

"YOU CAN NOT HAVE THAT BET. SO SORRY. NOW BUGGER OFF."

My point is that Badgers cannot have that bet.

Now what's YOUR point?

My point was that maybe you hadn't made your point enough times

badgers you could do torres to score a hatrick and liverpool to win i reckon.

Or you might get away with torres hat trick and correct score.

score first and hat trick they wont have though. Or they might but the would reduce the odds a bit.

or just do 3 individual £3.30 bets. one for first scorer. One for torres hat trick and one for correct score. or whatever.

I see. But Badgers was still playing along with it, so I thought I would be funny. If the standard of humour wasn't up to your usual acceptable levels then I can only apologise and say that sometimes these things happen in life but we'll all try to pick up the pieces and go on regardless.

The standard of humour was right up my street!

I was taking the piss (of Badgers not getting the point and you having to make it 3 times)

I r4eally really really want liverpool to win, obviously.
It does have the hallmarks for an absolute Liverpool In Europe Classic.

But I just don't thnk we'll do it.

I just don't think, given the circumstances, that Europe is really a priority.

So as much as I want Liverpool to win, I really wouldn't be bothered if we went out.

Let Man Who et al fight ver a conjested final part of the season and let us just worry about the weekends.

Right, I think we're all on the same page now. Let's go forward into the brave new sunset with hope in our hearts and a nice betting slip clutched in our hands.

Wish I was a neutral for this one really...
Although (despite baseless betting speculation) I have written off LFC so just hoping that the sport of football is the winner.

You don't think Liverpool have been bluffing about Gerrard's 'strain'?

What & leave him out of the home game on Sat with all the Hillsborough aniversary tributes (where his own cousin died) ? .....all for a bluff!.........surely even Liverpool wouldn't sink that low!!!! :hmm:

Bet you a £1 you lose that tenner.

(marty, lend me a quid)

can lend you the quid out of the winnings , I'm on roll football betting wise, I feel it in my waters:)

saturday I had about a tenner on the top 3 all winning, short odds but got £22 back, then i had £3 on an accumulator plus various doubles, trebles, on Newcastle drawing with stoke, villa drawing with everton (villa came back from 3-1 down) and fulham beating man c (fulham came back from 1-0) that £3 changed magically into £70

just put a cheeky quid on Liverpool to win 4-1 on the night, 100/1 :D
Don't think it'll happen but it's damn good odds.

You'll lose it about 90 or so times and win the other 10! (£90 loss to a £ £1000 win (roughly))

I think Pool can win but Chelsea will go through. That's only my secondary thought.

My primary thought is....this should be a fucking game and a half, made a lot tastier by the absence of Terry.
