Chelsea FC 2018/19...Who's Sarri Now

Decent perfomance from Chelsea yesterday. Thought it would be difficult psychologically after that 6-0 debacle but Sarri got the tactics spot on . Emerson is far better as a left back than Alonso, Kante was outstanding on the right of midfield, Jorginho showed far more agression and Hazard was a constant threat. As the game got more stretched he brought on RLC and Odoi and we had a very good second half. Fine margin with Luiz hitting the post in the shootout. Spurs next.
The Kepa situation will be dealt with internally . Sarri's a good coach just needs time and the three best managers in the Premiership at City, Liverpool and Spurs were all given that by their clubs despite none of them winning any trophies.

Yes a really decent performance overshadowed by Kepas antics. To simply stop City scoring deserves credit for the manager and players. We need that same level of commitment on Wed night for sure and then hopefully put together a decent run of form.

Yeah an easy watch.

I didn't realise it started at 5:55 mind, finished work at 6 and missed the first 2 goals on the bus (and one before even getting on the bus).

CHO is a fucking prospect, RLC really strengthens that area in the left midfield, Christianson will get really good at CB and is about ready to step in full time...but yeah the game was easy, going to get harder though. (We should win this)

we got the luck of the draw there, not just in the next game but the possible route to the final. Avoided both Valencia and Napoli and if we get through then it's either Benfica or Frankfurt both of whom are beatable . Hope Benfica win their tie but as these things happen they are up against a Benfica player on loan Jovic who is scoring loads so it's going to be close. Would love a Chelsea Napoli final if we get that far.

Very very fortunate. Team selection was rank and pedestrian.
The seven on the bench today could easily beat his starting eleven.
It's so flat, it's like the Rafa year where we won the Euro despite being rank in the domestic league.

Feel gutted for Cardiff, they deserved so much more from the game and it could prove to be a costly defeat.

Weird thing is we played well first third of the season despite the fact that Kovacic doesn't bring much, William is so frustrating, Pedro inconsistent and we have two full backs that can't cross Dont have anyime for any team managed by Warnock tbh.

Watched the game again, pitifully slow and no movement untill the subs were on. Reminded me of Conteh's last season. Either we get players from our reserved, loanees or from transfers who want to play the way the coach does or we get a coach who just brings out the best in who we've got. The former is long term the second is short term which we've done ad infinitum .

Funnier than he thinks he is.
