Bye Cesc, it 's been a pleasure.

He's a clever footballer and he's got years left as a top player.

I've not seen anywhere where he might be going

Ok. Citeh have got done by Sports Direct FC.
Liverpool have dropped points at home to Leicester.

This means that our title dream is not over. Sarri and his main man Jorghi boy just need to get on a roll after losing to Bournemouth 4-0 ( hang on 4-0 ) . All is well at the Bridge.

    Keep repeating this :D

It's like you're playing your title-winning season and the season you finished 10th at the same time. Weird stuff.

Very weird. Baffling as well. Or is that the same thing

Different things. It is a bit baffling, agreed. You clearly lack goals. Hazard seems very on and off. And is Kante still being played out wide? That's truly baffling. I get what Jorginho is supposed to do, but on the evidence so far he's not all that effective so far is he?

Weird thing was we could/should have been a goal up in the first half. Shocking second half display tbh and all credit to Bournemouth for truly clinical finishing .
Not convinced with what I think is a lazy argument about playing Kante centrally. Sarri's system is based in having a short passing midfield player that keeps the ball moving. That isn't Kantes strength. When we beat Spurs in the cup he got man of the match,we get beat and we get calls to move him and change the teams tactics. We appointed Sarri for his footballing tactics and philosophy we need to see it through. Klopp and Guardiola all had a very mixed first season. We are in one final and are more than capable of finishing in the top four.

I totally agree that you should give Sarri time. But that's not the Chelsea way, is it? What's the longest you've had a manager since Abramovic came in? Three years?

As for Kante, he was, maybe is one of the best two three players worldwide at DM. So what the fuck is he doing out wide?

Scoring more goals this season than he has since hes been at the club. Before tonight we had the third best defensive record.Nobody questioned where he played when we beat City, Liverpool, Spurs etc.
Two and a half I think re managers . having said that isnt Sean Dyche the longest serving manager in the EPL?

He's got 3 goals this season. Hardly setting the world alight as a more offensive DM.

As for longest serving, got to be Dyche or Howe surely.

I know it was Huddersfield but Kantes assist for the first goal was brilliant and Higuin's second was a belter

We looked a lot less tipp-tappy up front, nice to see, as were some of Jorghinos longer passes, not normally a feature of his game.

Nice one. Today, Liverpool fans will be cheering on Chelsea, Man Utd fans will be cheering on Man City, and we're all cheering on Leicester again :)

He's all right Mr Sarri is. He has 80 Woodbine hidden under the seat of our team bus.
He'll need them before the League Cup Final
