Difficult acts to follow this week but we can round it all off along with Arsenal and have two all English euro finals.
Would be nice to extend the unbeaten Europa League record too. Making history as we speak, despite what Liverpool and the Hammers sing about us
16 so far, innit?
Ain't sure but I think tonight's the 16th.
Let's have a look...
" Last Thursday Chelsea set a new Europa League record of 16 consecutive matches without defeat "
From the Official site
Tonight’s game aside...
Are Chelsea going to hang on to Hazard? Can they contractually keep him for another two transfer windows?
If the ban's upheld why would we sell?
Just curious to know if they will try and make him stay and how he will act/perform if so.
Hazard's too nice to be a dick about it.
Does anyone else really want a hotdog?
This has been an incredibly stressful week!
Fucking Arsenal had it easy, twats.
Four English teams in European finals. That's not too shabby
They're only English for tax reasons.
Frankfurt looked a very good side, we had to graft for that.
Final is going to be interesting and i think it will be Petr Cech's final game in which case both sets of fans can give him a decent send off ( with a runners up medal).
Frankfurt were always going to be difficult. They have in Jovic a striker that will go to a big club for loads of dosh and woould have given any of the semi finalists a game . We missed chances at theirs and at home but if it wasn't for Luiz they could have nicked that. Rubén Loftus Cheek has shown that if you stick with the club and listen to a good coach then you can improve to a level where he could be a very good player. It's a bit of a haul to where the final is being played btw.
2468 miles away, you could write a song about that, 2468 Motorway
6,000 tickets each. Fair play to anyone who makes that trek. Looks a great stadium though.
The allocations to clubs for both Euro competitions are a joke
Fastest. £2200. 8 hours each way.
Average £1250. 12 hours each way via Bahrain/Istanbul
Cheapest £500. 21 hours each way via places such as Iran.
Not bad for a local derby.
Pleasantly surprised that we finished third behind two of the best sides the Prem has ever seen. Top London team too.
Would be nice to keep Hazard while the transfer ban is looming but I'll not be surprised if he goes. It seems the right time for him personally.
Over to Baku now, again I'm a bit pessimistic because Arsenal need it more than we do because of the Champions League issue. I dont think we have anyone in defence to stop Aubamayeng, esp with Rudiger out.
Hopefully they will prove me wrong, Hazard too.
