The money issue has always been there, but now it's getting to silly amounts. The answer seems to be develop your own talent as we've done, but there will also always be clubs - Ajax beign the obvious example - who are still years ahead of other clubs in terms of scouting but will be, primarily a test bed for players who then move on. Jefferson Farfan is just the latest example.
Football's been fucked for a good 15 years, it's merely accerlating with Abramovich and rich tycoons buying into clubs. But you won't here a murmur from many if their club is successful....where are all the Man U fans demanding Glazer goes now?
