Costa just never gives up - neither do the rest. Little errors all over, Hazard off form, still doing it though.

Spurs next for 14...I'm thinking they'll be up for it.

That's the sort of game we used to lose but like you say DexterTCN this squad never gives up.

Fair play to Stoke for having a good crack at us.
Spuds is gonna be like a Cup Final and secretly some of those gooners fans are gonna be cheering for Tottenham :D

  3. poului

    poului a bit overrated

The emphaticness of those goals was frightening. Under pressure too.

Hazard's lay-off for Willian is maybe the best I've ever seen.

Very tight game but that second Spurs goal makes things very difficult .

We weren't bad but we were second best tbh. Great header from Alli for their first goal , second was sloppy defending . Didn't play with the intensity that was required but Spurs tbf didn't often let us and we seem to run out of steam in the last fifteen minutes.

The football gods had a hand in this after what we did to them last year.

    Never mind, good game.

It had to end at some time didn't it, that run. Only Roy of the Rovers and The New Saints never lose :)

We just didn't mix it tonight, maybe Fabs could have come on earlier. I'm sure Conte will learn a lot from this as he did after the Arsenal debacle.

They were two of our longest serving players after JT believe it or not. Both off to China where the big money is at the moment. I was shown a nice tweet from Mikel about his stay with us, I don't use twitter so I wouldn't know how to get it into here. DexterTCN ?? Anyone??

    1. Jon Obi Mikel's heartfelt goodbye to @ChelseaFC fans is lovely. He's off to join Chinese side Tianjin TEDA FC.

One way traffic here although Peterborough have attacked without fear when they've had the opportunity , fair play to them. we have averaged a shot every two and a half minutes but still only one nil up.

Very impressed with that display. Hard to get to the bottom of the Costa thing Especially with the media determined to make a drama out of anything . I suspect that it will be resolved, good to see Costa cheering on Chelsea on Instagram and Conte sticking to Costa is injured when interviewed.
    Liverpool and Arsenal after Hull.

Leicester were missing some good players but we we pretty much in control from start to finish.

Vardy barely got a touch. Pedro's turning lay-off to Willian which lead to the headed goal was wonderful.

If Costa's getting £30 million a year he's gone. There are very few players who would turn that down. But we'd get £80 million for him so it's not all doom and gloom. Strike while the Chinese iron is hot, I say. It will only take a couple of flops over there to dramatically reduce the offers. Most likely he goes in the summer though.

Funny to see the media bemoaning a Chelsea player chasing the cash. Ian Wright was on MOTD criticising him for "leaving a top club" just to get more money.

    Um.....

It's crazy at the moment and hard to believe anything in the media. Conte is handling it well though, enjoying the cake too :D

That was some goal by Andy Carol yesterday tommers

I've seen a few of those go in (Sinclair, Rooney) but never one with so much velocity. It was like a tennis serve.

An almost too perfect to be true weekend set of results ruined by Arsenals last minute penalty .
