Cheesiest tune you can't help liking?

Aha but its the memories that go with it isn't it ;)

I know what you mean
I get a euphoric rush of nostalgia when I hear Band on the Run for exactly the same reason :o

Simply Red - 'Holding Back the Years' always raises a smile as it reminds me of the never-ending summer of ... erm ... 1986 I think :o

Sugababes - 'Freak Like Me' - best use of Gary Numan ever

NOT CHEESE!!! NOT CHEESE!!! BIN!!! BAN!!!

;)

That's quality pop that is - one of the greatest pop moments in the last ten years. And it was written by the band (well, mostly Siobhan Donaghy) when they were all about 15.

I don't really think any of the music mentioned here is cheese! But my record collection does look like a 15-year-old's, so what you gonna do? ;)

The words were indeed written by the then teenaged and then Siobhan-inclusive Sugababes, but the music wasn't. So there you go, fact fans.

How about Rachel Stevens? Sweet Dreams by LA Ex and Some Girls are both stonking tunes. And who could not love Toxic by Britney? Cathy Dennis is a song-writing genius. :D
