Checking whether Mac slowness is a RAM issue

Earth yourself first by either

Touching the metal of the computer case while it's still plugged in (and turned off of course)

or

Touching an exposed metal water pipe eg. on a radiator

Well it went in OK. I was very careful not to drop any of the little screws into the machine, instead dropping the screwdriver head in there. I decided it was less risky just to leave it rather than trying to disassemble everything to get it out.

I'll see if anything seems to run any faster now.
