Cheap Linux laptop for Xmas maybe?

It's not got a proper hard drive, or a CD drive, so it's not much use for music/video, but at that price it's the ideal 2nd machine for on-the-go.

There is a great article to be written on the pictures that people use to represent what the display might possibly look like.... what it might look like if you sellotape a picture of a girl on top of your screen

It has wireless, but no ethernet port it seems....
 
You sure ?? the cnet article in the OP refers to a 10/100 ethernet port, so unless RM have canned it for the UK release...
 
Just check these specs! At £169 + VAT it's going to put some heavy downward pressure on laptop prices this year! Whether you want an Asus or not, that's got to be a Good Thing for end users.
