Cheap alternative to baby oil to squirt in the loo ?

I bet the sewerage cleaners would prefer to deal with paper than oil any day.

I think they do:

This - Don't I remember something about you having a very high proportion of fruit in your diet?
I've been eating all sorts recently - eased up on the 2 litres of fruit smoothies - mainly due to the huge expense.

I've almost fixed my kitchen now so I will hopefully get back to my most effective diet of cabbage, onions and brown rice.

That will have to wait until I retire in 12 years' time. If all goes well I will be moving to rural France where all such things will be possible. :)

I'm totally failing here to explain my dilemma. :(

Basically you have the squits. You're against flushing the toilet after every procedure and using bleach, on environmental grounds. Consequently, experiencing problems with removing stubbon residue.

Personally I'm a flush for brown and use bleach kinda guy, so can't really help.

experiencing problems with removing stubbon residue.
It isn't stubborn because I don't let it dry, but flushing on its own doesn't remove it so I have to brush after I flush - every single morning. The only problem I ever used to get was limescale - which can be kept in check with vinegar.

The experiment has commenced - the onecal emulsified spray is a little unsightly though and I would need to apply it just before a seated session as there are generally several standing sessions in between ...

That's a fucking weird way to go about it. Can't believe you think it's too much trouble to wipe the shit off your bog but yet you went out of the house (with the shits) to buy some oil to prevent it sticking!

well strange

Flax seeds - check ! -in my home made loaf every day :)

Flax oil - rserved for my furniture ;)

Bran - in my bread, plus the cereals I graze on at night.

and douche - apparently colonics aren't actually very good for you :p

I'm not actually experiencing that level of urgency - and I'd had 4 goes before I went so there wasn't any left.:p

ok, so let me get this straight... you have an ongoing dicky stomach problem, and at the same time you have a policy of not flushing the bog after you've gone, or using a germ killing toilet cleaner, and to top it off you've having to regularly use a bog brush to scrub the bog clean... may I humbly suggest that you maybe ought to look at how these statements could possibly be related in a cause and effect type manor.;)

Are you grinding some of the flax seeds too?

Grind a load and add it to everything you cook/ eat. You can add it to drinks too.

So let me get this straight, flax oil / crushed flax seed will have me laying nice firm cables again ? :hmm:

I do brush the loo and I pour a little chlorine bleach over it in its little pot.

As for the rest, I've lived this way for 20 years.

I'll have to go out and get another box of flax powder - recently threw the last one out after leaving it open for a year or so - I'd found it a bit of a faff ...

I think I'll start sprouting things again. :-

Sprouted Flax Powder opens the door to all the health benefits that flaxseed has to offer. The process of germination fundamentally changes the nutrient composition of the seed. Nutrients such as enzymes, amino acids, and vitamins are substantially increased and become more bioavailable, allowing for better absorption. For example, sprouting doubles the antioxidant (ORAC) value of flaxseed. The "anti-nutrients" such as phytic acid, enzyme inhibitors and insoluble fibers are decreased, again allowing for increased bioavailability and nutrient absorption.

But tomatoes....

(I eat them by the canful)

As has been said fucking sort your diet out and start flushing the loo after a shit, use vinegar and a bog brush to clean once a week it isn't wasting water at all, there is green living and being an idiot, take your pick. ;)

 I do brush the bog - every fecking time I flush.

It's at least once a day - I would sooner go back to once a week.

I ain't read the thread, but fuckit gentlegreen, I thought you crapped over a pit and wiped your arse with straw.

I is very disappointed in your green credentials. :(
