You tell 'em, frieda! All those Chelski 'supporters' who decided not to go to Cardiff will soon be looking for a new club to support! :D

champions league has gone to pot these days - a team can win the CL even if they aren't the best team in englad. As Liverpool showed.
Like Barca who gave you a lesson last year then?

Yup you're right. You proved that over 2 legs home and away and you still managed to win the premiership.;) So who do you think was the best team in England that year when we knocked you out of it. Personally i thought Tranmere were doing OK but my money was on Preston Northend.

But you weren't qualified as the best team in England either when you went out to Liverpool were you? (nor the season before when you lost in the semi's with Ranieri) So therefore - had things been different, you would have conceded you had won a meaningless competition that had gone to pot?

5th highest averge attendance in England ever.

Sorry? If you're talking about the Chelski fair weather supporters, they didn't turn up. I guess they thought they had better things to do than support their side...like shop for new 4x4s or something...okay, yah?

They'll soon latch onto the another winning side.

Fair weather supporters always do.:D

Anyway, back to yesterday’s game. 6 wins out of 8 at Anfield South. Hopefully Wembley will never be finished……

Got a £20 ticket in the Chelsea end for £40. Liverpool end tickets were going for £80-£100. I migrated across a few blocks to the Liverpool-packed ‘neutral’ area and had a good shout for the goals. I think Chelsea fans knew how average their team were going to be today and decided to save their money.

Not a brilliant game but I’ve seen far worse Charity/Community Shield’s than that. Sissoko was brilliant. Shevchenko was good.

Schevchencko will probably be the differnce for Chelsea this year - he looked class yesterday. His control when he went down the right and made of a fool of Carragher was sublime.

Liverpool's midfield still looks the best in the premiership (minus Zenden) and if they can score more goals they've got a chance of getting closer to Chelsea. Hopefully this season won't be the snooze-fest of last year if LFC and Arsenal can get it together.

So, tell me, what did Everton last win?

Oh and before you accuse me of being one of those Liverpool supporters who has no connection with the city, I'd advise you to choose your next words with care.

Silly cunt.

Calm down, it was only a bit of banter.

Well done the RedScouse anyway. Hopefully this is a sign that the might rouble/ruble (however its spelled) will not rule over the Premiership this year.
