this is starting to get bloody silly
I ended up missing the game due to getting caught up in train delays coming back into London from Norwich.
Charlton racism storm as Irish players called ‘pikey c***s’ in ex-teammate vid
We've got tickets for this coming Saturday (17th). Anyone going?
Not many will be!
We quite enjoyed our trip in the snow today. All the proper fans HATED it going on our chats in the restaurant but TBH it's the only kind of football I can a) afford to go to b) get to relatively easily (though actually it was quite sad - before there'd be loads of people leaving the train station even if they weren't pumped up and today it seemed to be just us) and c) have some emotional connection to so it's not just another football match so for me as a VERY casual fan it was fun. Even though it was another rung down, really. Sarr's shot over the goal had my head in my hands before he did, and then I had to explain to J why he was so annoyed.
And kudos to the people beating drums and making noise - you are what makes football football.
I'm aware that this is a very touristy football post, and apologies for that.
Come back when we have new owners. The crowds and atmosphere will be a lot better!
I rather miss my 2 or 3 times per season tourist attendances but nah, I'll wait.
am i allowed to feel faintly underwhelmed?
We now have no manager and no chairman.
it could be worse
we could still have a chief executive...
The first goal was fucking amazing and I put my shoulder out celebrating it. The second wasn't bad either.
I can't remember the last time I actually jumped up and went mad at Charlton.
Lee Lee Lee Bowyer!
It's very weird having something to cheer about at games again.
Don't worry it will go back to normal very soon.
98th minute goal
and not an equaliser
We must have the record this season for giving away leads in the last 5 minutes?
Nevermind, everything is great again and we are going up!
Just keep him out of McDonalds....
Will be fun to watch the Charlton trainspotters lose in the play offs
