Does anyone know for sure the link between Charles Train VC and DHFC?
Charles was part of the 1913 Easter tour party, but probably not as a player.He was also at the 1914 21st anniversary celebration, which seems to have been by invite, suggesting he was close to the club / someone important in the club. When his VC was conferred, the club described him as a "friend" of Dulwich Hamlet.
Has anyone come across his name in relation to the club elsewhere?
