Chapati cooking

I take it you didn't do the bombay potatoes then?

Oh, and Termite Man is bang on re preparing stuff beforehand - I always make the dhal first and heat it up in the microwave later :)

Same with the bombay potatoes - you can just keep them in a warm pan til the rest is ready

No. To be honest we were stuffed with just the curry and chapatis. Only just finished not being able to move ( I added quite a bit more potatoes).

Although it would have been nice to have a mixture of stuff with some left over for another night.

Do they all freeze ok or not?

I've got one and soup has never been a problem (I do it when they're hot too ;)), the shieldy bit from the blade helps it not to splatter :)

But what about saag paneer?

Paneer is great... but it's not exactly cheddar is it? :)

I remember reading on here a while ago, that someone had made a curry but it didn't turn out great, so they chucked in a tub of cottage cheese (as paneer is often described as a 'type of cottage cheese') I dare say it isn't something they repeated :D

Not sure I could cope with one of those - I have visions of me and the kitchen splattered in food :(

Also, I blend my soups while they're still hot cos I'm an impatient bastard. That could result in some nasty scalds

I have used one a million (slight exageration) times on hot food and never burned my self.
The trick is to keep the blades submerged at all times and move from side to side. Only up and down if your using a thinner taller container.
